Rocky Road's Toyota Pickup Rock Sliders are the creme' de la creme' of the rocker protection world. We use 3/16" inner hitch steel to make sure your bars do NOT bend! Anything other than hitch steel is just plain flimsy. Most other Toyota pickup rock sliders are made from thin wall tube material. Alot of shops refer to these as Nerf bars. an appropriate name since they will ofer about as much protection to your vehicle as a Nerf toy product would.
Our Rock Sliders have a very sleek rounded look about them as we use genuine inner hitch steel in their construction. Hitch steel is not only very strong, it also has a nice radius corner instead of a hard boxy look. Inner hitch steel is the stuff you use to plug into 2" receiver hitches. Its sheer weight is astronomical as is its bending strength. Our shop press goes to 100 tons and we can't even start to bend them. Do you think a scrawny little rock can hurt these things? Think again!
Why hitch steel? Why not go with a lesser gauge steel to save production costs?
Because we wouldn't trust anything less to protect our 4WD's and neither should you! Besides, since these carry the Rocky Road **lifetime guarantee**, we don't want to have to replace them for you for free every couple years or so.
We made them indestructible so they'll last forever and they are guaranteed forever, NEVER to bend on you!
Triangulated mounting means the mounts are not just attached to the frame, but the frame and the body. By using the pinchy seam on most of our slider designs, we give MUCH MORE mounting strength than any other kit possibly can only attached to the frame. They can use all the fancy frame wraps and gussets they want, but NOTHING BEATS TRIANGULATION! And no 'chat room' expert can deny this engineering fact. Our kits address the miniscule amount of frame/body flex as well, so this is NOT an issue with Rocky Road slider kits.
Many kits also use mounting bolts and brackets which hang BELOW the frame REDUCING clearance. Rock Rock kits do NOT reduce clearance even a fraction of an inch. Their mounts look fancy in photos, but on the trail, those other kits reduce clearance!! WTH??! The pictures of those other brand kits look slick... from the bottom, or weird angles that don't show the height of the kit. Their mount system requires them to push their slider bar INCHES LOWER than our slider bars. Rocky Road Rock Sliders simply tuck tighter and look better once installed.

You'll find our Toyota Pickup Rock Sliders very attractive and will blend in nicely with your stock flares and moldings. Most all will run fender to fender and many folks have commented on their very OEM (factory) look. We tuck them very tight to the body to minimize the possibility of getting hung up. All kits come in a sturdy, durable, and very attractive black powdercoat electrostatic and baked powdercoat finish.
Our Toyota Pickup Rock Sliders have been installed and reviewed always with the highest marks by offroad magazines, websites, chat forums, etc. Our Toyota Pickup Rock Sliders are the strongest, thickest, and most protective bars on the market, with best mounting system, and are guaranteed NEVER to bend.
In a nutshell, if you want the very best, you have found it. Rocky Road Superslider Rock Sliders are the same great design, thickness as the regular Rock Sliders, guaranteed to last forever, but also stand out 2" from the vehicle farther than standard Rockrails; enough to use as a step to get to your roof rack or to make it easier to get in and out of your vehicle. The Kicker Slider is the same but with additional protection in back as well as an aexcellent step for roof rack or other access. Diamond plate back makes this kit look super nice!
These rocker bars offer all the strength and warranty of our regular Rockrails, but with the added bonus of an additional upper tube. This upper tube can provide even more protection against sliding into rocks, trees, or other trail hazards.
The Superslider kits not only tuck tight to the body, but also provide EXCELLENT side protection to further protect your truck.

Everyone who has seen these on our shop 4x4s has wanted a pair. They are unequaled in strength and looks. They also make an excellent step for access to roof racks and such. The Kicker Slider as mentioned above provides an even better step with diamond plate. Each Super Slider and Kicker Rock Slider kit mounts identical to the standard Rock Sliders for the vehicle. It also still features that great looking 45* front and rear edge. Not only good for looks, but alot more practical for trail use than our competition's squared off ends.
This is basically the same proven design as our world famous Rock Sliders, only with the extra slider tube up top. We don't have pictures of the Supersliders/Kickers for all Toyotas at this time, but the basic look is the same for all so check out the picture above for a good idea on this awesome design.
Nothing protects like the Rocky Road Rock sliders!
NOTE: Our Superslider kits angle upward off the main slider bar for superior clearance on the trail... see pictures above.
Our FLAT-OUT Superslider kits provide a flat Superslider option, for those who want a wider flat step off the vehicle (same position as our Kicker Slider kits).
