"If only the Titanic had these on."
Rocky Road's Samurai Rock Sliders are the creme' de la creme' of the rocker protection phenomenon. We use 3/16" inner hitch steel to make sure your bars do NOT bend! Anything else is just plain flimsy. Most other rocker bars are made from thin 1/8" wall material and a good number of the Rockrails we sell are to those who have bought those big bubble tube units and have bent and dented them up. At 3/16" thick, ours are the absolute strongest rocker protection you can buy in the world for your Samurai.

Our Samurai Rock Sliders also have a very sleek rounded look about them as hitch steel has a nice radius corner instead of a hard boxy look and are completely 'bolt on'. They run fender to fender and many folks have commented on their OEM look.
Why hitch steel? Why not go with a lessor gauge steel to save production costs?
Because we wouldn't trust anything less to protect our Zuks and neither should you! Besides, since these carry the Rocky Road **lifetime guarantee**, we don't want to have to replace them for you for free every couple years or so.
We made them indestructible so they'll last forever and they are guaranteed forever, NEVER to bend on you!
They also provide a nice pivot place for those times when you gotta squeeze the rock or end up coming down hard onto some solid trail particle.
Throw a HiLift under them as well. You cannot hurt them.
Suzuki owners worldwide use and swear by our Rocky Road Rockrails.
Exclusively from Rocky Road are our HIROCK slider kits.
Pictured at left is the standard HIROCK kit on the Rocky Road ZUK,
but it is also available in Superslider form with the outer slider bars as shown below.

This great kit has been on our Rocky Road Samurai for years and many customers who has visited our facility have commented how they want it!
Well... now the HIROCK kit is finally being released to the public!
The installation does require sheet metal cutting. The picture illustrates that entire rocker panel area under the doors is removed, and the HIROCK Slider is mounted in a higher position to fill that spot. You don't really notice it at first without closer inspection, but the kit now sits SUPER high and looks great.
What you end up with is a REALLY high clearance slider kit with super clean lines. Its really nice if your sheet metal in this area is all rusted away. But even with your body still intact, our kits offer the ultimate in high clearance protection for your Samurai.
Now also available are the Rocky Road Super-sliders. These rocker bars offer all the strength and warranty of our regular Rockrails, but with the added bonus of an additional upper tube. This upper tube can provide even more protection against sliding into rocks, trees, or other trail hazards. Everyone who has seen these on our shop 4x4s has wanted a pair. They are unequaled in strength and looks.
They also make an excellent step for access to roof racks and such. The Supersliders are replacing the Steprails that were available for a number of vehicles.
Superslider for the Samurai shown from above.
NOTHING is as good-looking or as protective as our Superslider kit.

Each Superslider kit mounts identical to the standard Samurai Rock Slider. It also still features that great looking 45* front and rear edge.
Not only good for looks, but alot more practical for trail use than our competition's squared off ends.
This is basically the same proven design as our world famous Samurai Rock Sliders, only with the extra slider tube up top.
The extra slider tube up top offers additional side protection on the trail and off the trail.
One of our favorite uses of the Superslider is as a bash guard against other swinging doors in a parking.
Imagine the dismay of the chump who just threw open his car door only to whack it on the solid steel of your Superslider.
He just stuck a nice dent in the edge of his door, your Toy still looks cherry!

Pictured at left is an example of an engineering detail of the Rocky Road Rockrail kits over others on the market.
This just helps demonstrates one of the many superior engineering points in our system.
Notice the top picture at left is a Rocky Road rock slider kit. See the beveled edge?
The nice 45* ramp which would slide up and over any rock or stump on the trail?
Its takes more time and effort to manufacture the kits this way, but that's all included with the Rocky Road kits.
Now take a look at the lower picture at left. This is from a competitor. Same pricing for the rocker kits, but they cut their production costs by making the end a blunt square. Run that thing into a rock and you can clearly see the trouble you will face. Its a battering ram, not a rock slider. It could stop your vehicle cold or require you to bash away until something gives.
Why would they build their kits with this engineering defect? Simple... its cheaper to manufacture with the flat end, so that's what they go with.
Also notice how much further down their kit hangs. Rocky Road kits tuck up tight!
This are a couple easily observed engineering advantages the Rocky Road kits offer... but there are many more.
PLEASE NOTE: The standard Samurai Rock Slider and Superslider kits will not work with the JPEater Wrangler conversion system. The HiRock Slider kits will work with the JPEater system.
NOTE: Our Superslider kits angle upward off the main slider bar for superior clearance on the trail... see pictures above.
Our FLAT-OUT Superslider kits provide a flat Superslider option, for those who want a wider flat step off the vehicle (same position as our Kicker Slider kits).
