If you've been looking for a rack system for your Liberty with the Sly Slider roof, you probably haven't had any luck at all. The extra clearance requirements mean you really cannot install anything on top. Add to that the cheesy plastic side rail setups Jeep installs, and its obvious you need a system built specifically to your Jeep.
Our Jeep Liberty Sky Slider rack can service not only as a mounting system for important offroad accessories, but also for everyday use such as hauling lumber, plywood, or other oversized items too large for the interior cargo area.

The Jeep Liberty Sky Slider rack system is available with just a set of crossbars as pictured at left. Or as a full rack system just like our Adventure rack series pictured below.
The Sky Slider Adventure rack provides a great carrying system and of our accessory mounts pop on and off in a minute so you can customize your rack however you want, by yourself, in a moment's notice.
Another great bonus for our Adventure rack is that if you want to run an oversized spare tire (for lifted Libertys)... a larger tire cannot be mounted under the vehicle. Doesn't fit. Our full Adventure rack is available with a spare tire mount kit. And if you had a day like we had Fall 2008 deep in the backcountry of Southern Utah in one of our company vehicles... we flatted a front tire on the trail and when we went to mount the spare, it had a leak from previously dragging over some sharp object on the trail. Fortunately, we were equipped with pump and tire plugs to get ourselves home. Point being... its not the best idea for a trail rig to have the spare tire (your getcha home insurance) be a bumper-plate on the back of, or underneath your Jeep.
This incredibly strong rack mounts to the Rocky Road roof rails very easily and the rails ARE REQUIRED if you want to run the Crossbar kit or the Adventure rack. All bolton, no cutting, drilling, or other modification needed. Mounts tight and secure for the most rugged on and offroad use. Perfect for the ultimate world safari expedition, or for just traveling around town.
The spare tire mount. Our kit uses a cool prerunner style mount with an easy to use T-handle for tightening and securing.
You can pack along extra items such as an axe, shovel, axe and shovel, or anything else with a similar handle using our accessory mount.
The HiLift jack mount gives you a nice secure place to store this essential offroad tool. We use an official HiLift jack mount kit which allows you to lock your jack into place if you wish. Holds jacks up to 60" if you wish.
Our forward light mount gives you a great place to mount auxiliary offroad lights such as the IPF kit shown in our pictures. Our mount puts them up high to get rid of that hood glare you often get from lower mounted overhead lights. Our light bars come with 3 or 4 light positions. You can use the center mount for other items such as a CB antenna. Can also be mounted on the rear of the rack as well.
Fuel or water carriers are a great item to have along for a weekend adventure, or your dream road trip. Our racks allow an assortment of fuel or water cans to be used which can be purchased from many auto parts stores, outdoor stores, or direct from Rocky Road. The single can carrier kit holds 2 containers.

The Jeep Liberty roof rack system is built around a super sturdy 1.25" tube frame. All components easily bolt into place. Anyone in possession of a wrench can mount this kit up. All components come in a very durable black powdercoat finish and look excellent next to the factory roof rails. The whole system is UPSable to anywhere in the world.
Yakima's round bar accessories (and perhaps other brands) will fit to our Crossbar kit and our Adventure rack kit. So the possibilities for hauling cargo and toys is nearly limitless with our system.

Please note: All Sky Slider rack systems require our new steel rail system. It cannot be used with the stock plastic rails.
