Jeep Cherokee Front Track Bar / Panhard.
The factory Track bar locates the front axle side to side on the vehicle.
It is located at the driver's side framerails and runs down to the passenger
of the front axle.
When lifted, the track bar creates a diagonal line and shortens the distance between the mounting points thus shifting the axle towards the driver's side.... the axle becomes cockeyed. This effect is definetely noticeable with lifts over 3".
A worn and misaligned track bar can also lead to the dreaded DEATH WOBBLE on our Jeeps.
Our track bar eliminates these problems by mounting it in the original location and having an adjustable tie rod end to accomodate lifts from 2-6" in height.
The adjustable end can also be replaced eventually if needed with a universal tie rod end from any auto parts store. Some companies use special rod ends that require you to purchase rod ends from them over and over again at hyper-inflated prices. Our kits are universal and found anywhere in the world easily.
The Track Bars come with poly bushings, dust covers, and as mentioned... easily serviced tie rod ends. Great for Cherokee or Comanche. No cutting or drilling is required to mount our track bar, simply bolt it on and go!
Track Bar comes powdercoated in black.
