Lower Control Arm Skid Plates!
These units are completely bolt-on and protect the mounting points of the front lower control arms on the front axle of your Cherokee or Grand Cherokee. Why does this matter? Simply because your control arm mounts are the first parts to hit the rocks and they are pretty easily damaged.Other companies offer beefier mounting tabs that you can weld in place once the originals are damaged, but why let them get damaged in the first place? Protect these important mounting points and provide a smooth surface that will help you slide over obstacles instead of getting hung up.
The picture to the right shows an unpowdercoated unit mounted to an XJ. You can see that with the stock control arms very little
ground clearance is lost.

All control arm skids are shipped with full powdercoating.
A set includes one skid plate for the left side and another for the right as well as all mounting hardware and easy to follow instructions.
