2" Vitara, Grand Vitara, Sidekick, Tracker Body Lift
Forget the hassles and complications associated with a 3" Sidekick/Tracker body lift. They are too complicated for any mortal do-it-yourselfer to tackle. 3" kits really mess with your steering and shifter systems. The steering Ujoint with 3" body lifts often binds up creating potentionally dangerous situations. You also end up having to chop up your floor and center console to make room for the shifters since they move so far with 3" body lifts.
Saving that extra inch by going with a Rocky Road 2" Sidekick/Tracker body lift saves you ALOT of headache which is why we're so confident you'll love our 2" system.
Our simple kit allows you to bolton 2 extra inches in just a couple of hours. Very beefy construction and easy instructions. No drilling or modification to your vehicle is required.
We do recommend moving the bumper brackets up for a nice look and will extend your shifters if you desire at no cost. Our kit also includes the service of extension of your stock shifters should you find this of importance (though few people find it necessary). We just need to have your stock shift levers and will cut and weld the extensions in!
Spacers are made from steel...no plastic or hard rubber that will eventually break. Unique machined sleeve and nut assembly allows you to just screw each body spacers into place in a minute or two. This kit is not only simple, but very safe as well.
Pictured at right is Steve Albright's awesome Sidekick SPORT. This vehicle features the Rocky Road 2" Body lift and 1" coil spacer lift for clearance over his BF Goodrich M/T's (235/85/16). A nice affordable paint job from Maaco and we think you will agree this is one really good looking Sidekick SPORT. Click the pics for a larger view.
Grand Vitaras 2006 and up now have welded Unibody construction. Sorry... no body lifts for you. Body lifts will also not work on V6 models without additional customization to the strut support.
Please note: We HIGHLY recommend picking up our steering
extension kit (listed below) for model years 1999 and newer.
More information on this kit is available on our Steering webpage.
